Hi all, you may want to see today’s article that alludes to Wednesday’s campaign on the mayor’s office. (you can see it here) While I’m glad they covered the story, I am disappointed that the author didn’t pay too much attention to the main point of the campaign: that legalizing brothels leads to increased human trafficking. Unfortunately, despite Susan Davis’ good intentions, similar plans have not panned out in projects locally and abroad. Ultimately, when brothels are normalized in other countries, the marginalized stay marginalized but in greater numbers.
